Pearl District Culinary Farmers Market


The Pearl’s weekly Sunday market takes over NW 13th Avenue between NW Everett and  Glisan with peak-season Oregon produce, local food artisans, wine, live music, and cooking demonstrations from neighborhood chefs. Organized by the Pearl District Neighborhood Association’s Re-Ignite initiative to activate the Pearl District.


Date: Every Sunday through September 27 (August dates: 23, 30)

Art In The Pearl® is one of the top 10 Arts and Crafts Festivals in the country, held annually in Portland, Oregon. The event attracts artists from across the US and receive national recognition for the quality of both exhibitors and patrons.

First Thursday Gallery Walk in the Pearl District


The Pearl’s signature monthly art walk since 1986. Galleries across the district open new exhibitions with evening receptions, drawing thousands of visitors for a stroll through the neighborhood. August openings included Blue Sky Gallery’s “Blue Sky 2015–2025: The Fifth Decade” (122 NW 8th Ave), Gallery 114’s “Spatial Awareness” and “Wildfire Season/Garden Party” (1100 NW Glisan St), Waterstone Gallery’s “Complicated Relationships” (124 NW 9th Ave), Laura Vincent Design & Gallery’s “Some Assembly Required” (824 NW Davis St), and Imperfecta Gallery’s “Inches Above” (809 NW Flanders St).

Urban Art Network's First Thursday Street Gallery 


The Street Gallery showcases original, hand crafted work by local area artists and makers. Held April to October, on the first Thursday of each month. City blocks are closed off in NW Portland on 13th street between Hoyt and Kearney.
